Under supervision of IT Infrastructure Mgr, IT Division Mgr or higher level technical/managerial staff, installs, maintains, troubleshoots and upgrades PC hardware and software; advises regarding server networks, peripheral equipment and company-wide electronic mail systems; assesses user training needs and trains users in effective use of applications; makes recommendations regarding hardware and software acquisitions; prepares documentation and provides user assistance to company staff; and performs related work as required. Although the major area of concern is in the networking arena, may be asked to assist with desktop solutions. |
